SAT and ACT Dates 2015 – 2016

If you’re planning on waiting until the beginning of the next academic year to take the SAT, that’s great, but don’t wait until the November or December test dates.

You’re taking a risk if you wait until December, since the scores would be available only shortly before the application deadline for most colleges and universities. 

Even the November date can be a problem if something bad happens: What if you’re sick the day of the test? What if you can’t make it to the test because of a car accident? I don’t think I have to tell you what will happen if that happens on a December test date when you haven’t already taken the SAT. But hey, maybe taking a year off before college would help you get your act together. ;-)
