Here's the article from the Wall Street Journal, noting that college admissions officials are VERY interested in hearing about what you've done during this coronavirus "vacation" from school. You may get only the first paragraph, but even from that, you can see the colleges want to know what you've learned about the world and your place in it from this crisis. It would help to show what you did to continue your learning and improve your skills during this period. It would be an extremely good idea to start thinking about how to answer such essay questions.
Here's my LinkedIn article from March 15, 2020 about what students should do with their free time at home during this crisis. Here's my video with suggestions on what to do while you're subject to "shelter in place" or "distance learning" restrictions. Hopefully, these links should give you some ideas for admissions essays. Contact me if you have any questions. I'll probably post some suggestions for "COVID essays" later. Stay safe! Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
