Video: "How to Study for the SAT and ACT – Probability and Counting."

12/19/2019

In this video, I cover all the probability and counting strategies you need to know for the SAT and ACT, including a couple of examples of typical SAT and ACT problems. I also cover Venn diagrams, combinations and permutations (which you don’t need to know for the SAT, but it doesn’t hurt to understand them). At the end, I also discuss why casino gambling is a bad idea using probability, and finally show why expecting to win any state lottery is a REALLY bad idea, using the California State Lottery as an example. Lotteries say the money goes to education? Well, hopefully the kids will be educated in why playing the lottery is a really stupid idea.
